Business Development:

• Identify business opportunities and funding programmes by main international donors (e.g., UN, BMZ, KfW, EU)
• Preparation of applications/expression of interest and tenders, including drafting of technical proposals

Project Management:

• coordinate all aspects of project delivery including timely and quality delivery of outputs,

Project Assistant Y-med project aims at facilitating and strengthening labour mobility schemes to match talents into the European labour market

Department: Private Sector Development to strengthen legal migration pathways to fulfil labour needs in EU (Migration & Development nexus)

Countries of Implementation: Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia, Libya, Italy, Belgium

Main activities:

• research analysis on innovative methods and approaches in migration management,
• drafting of policy papers, concept notes, formal correspondence, briefings, talking points,
• supporting partnerships, including calls, and monitoring actions points and follow up actions with partners,
• supporting with the organization of key events, including scouting and collecting information on venues,
• supporting procurement such as drafting ToRs, sourcing suppliers, obtaining offers and liaising with vendors,
• supporting in the elaboration of M&E strategy,
• supporting communications, including drafting communication materials, editing communications content such as social media content, newsletter articles, press releases.

• Provided support to the pilot project E-merge that aims at supporting multicultural enterprises/start up in Italy through business development training to facilitate their access to funds and enhance the social impact they generate
• Managed project timelines effectively by prioritizing tasks according to urgency and impact on overall objectives.

Provided support in the implementation and capitalization of the European Territorial Cooperation 'Interreg Med Program on Sustainable Tourism and Urban Transport Mobility Initiatives in the Mediterranean coastal areas'

UNIMED’s mission was to coordinate the communication and advocacy campaigns of thematic communities of territorial cooperation projects

• provided support in the drafting of the InterregEuroMED Academy via an e-learning platform to deliver training on strategic issues addressed by Interreg Med Programme in order to support the transferring and capitalising actions and facilitate the collaboration within horizontal projects and PANORAMED.
• Designed visually appealing promotional materials using graphic design software that resulted in increased audience interest.
• Monitored website analytics to identify areas for improvement in user experience or content strategy.
