Managing CDP’s overall strategy in shaping a harmonized and coherent global standards ecosystem:

• Coordinated multi-stakeholder consultations with standard setters and regulatory bodies such as ISSB, EFRAG and GRI to raise the ambition of climate and nature reporting.
• Advanced CDP’s capabilities to align with key ESG standards including ESRS, IFRS, GRI, SBTi, TNFD and SBTN, ensuring regulatory relevance and usability.
• Partnered with the EU Commission to increase the market uptake of the EU sustainable finance regulations, by delivering sector-snapshot reports on the net-zero readiness of high-value sectors.
• Aligned CDP’s ESG reporting platform to reflect the latest regulatory developments including the EU Omnibus bill and EU Taxonomy amendments.
• Conducted high quality capacity building workshops for corporates and financial institutions on standards and regulatory compliance.

Coordinated the work of the Executive Committee of the Warsaw International Mechanism for Loss and Damage (WIM ExCom) under the international climate agreement.

• Supported the UNFCCC in the organization of the first Glasgow Dialogue for Loss and Damage and reported on its key findings.
• Conceptualized and drafted the five-year workplan of the ExCom to implement developing country mandates on ground-level loss and damage measures.
• Contributed to the development of technical guidelines to assist developing countries reporting on loss and damage under the enhanced transparency framework of the Paris Agreement.
• Led targeted outreach to expert bodies and organizations to catalyse their engagement under the Santiago Network for loss and damage which oversees the provision of technical support to developing countries to address loss and damage.

• Led 2 projects on India’s invasive plant species management and critique of India’s new oil palm cultivation policy.
• Published an opinion piece and a peer reviewed journal article on the ecological impacts of palm oil cultivation in India and a fact-based report on tackling the invasive plant species spread in India.

• Outreach and guidance to municipal and regional governments in Europe, to secure their buy- in to the CDP-ICLEI environmental reporting platform.
• Increased city and state participation by 10% with 5 new European cities in the 2020 annual disclosure cycle.

• Designed a project proposal under the Lima Adaptation Knowledge Initiative (LAKI) to implement a scoping study on drought resilience in Namibia, proposal was accepted and implemented by the University of Michigan as a Capstone project.
• Managed work-stream databases of partners (companies and multi-national organizations), developed presentations (slide decks, slido, mentimeter), speaking notes and concept notes to support meeting chairs. Designed the NWP newsletter and info- brochures and managed social media platforms (Twitter and Facebook pages)
• Improved the accessibility of the Adaptation knowledge portal and increased stakeholder participation by 20%.

• Collaborated on designing and executing field research for my independent master's dissertation project on coastal adaptation.
• Developed a framework of resilience assessment combining quantitative and qualitative indicators based on the theory of complex socio-ecological systems.
• Submitted a peer-reviewed report and a popular article based on field interviews and documentary material.

• Led legal research on water laws and transboundary water conflict in India, Nepal and Bangladesh under the HI-AWARE project to develop mitigation measures in the Himalayan region. Report published by ICIMOD.
• Developed an analytical framework to compare national legislations of the 3 countries.
