Collaborated with a multidisciplinary team to advance biomedical signal processing. Explored heterogeneous data fusion technologies to enhance clinical understanding and characterization of migraine disease.

  • Analyzed electroencephalographic (EEG) activity from 86 subjects to study neurophysiological alterations in chronic and episodic migraine.
  • Extracted and processed EEG features related to local activation, global synchronization, and functional connectivity.
  • Developed and analyzed association networks using graph theory principles to quantify differences in neurophysiological structure across study groups.
  • Interpreted statistical results suggest a brain restructuring process in migraine patients, driven by neuroplasticity phenomena.
  • Insights from this project were presented at the Annual Congress of the Spanish Society of Biomedical Engineering.
